A Walk in the Park

In between the awful storms of the week before last, there was a glorious sunny and wonderful afternoon and we jetted to the playground/park area for some fun. Amelia asked if she could jump in the puddles and I decided why not? We talked about dirty starting with the letter D and if fit in perfectly. She had a blast!


Elise didn't get to jump in the mud, but she DID get to swing for the first time! She lounged back and was all smiles.

It was such a fun day and the weather was perfect. However, today it is supposed to be almost 98 degrees. WHAT? That is already a mid-July like temp.

Milestone mark: Amelia went all the way across the monkey bars with me holding on to just her legs. Oh, and Elise was in the backpack getting hit with Amelia's leg on each swing, smiling all the while. Angel baby.

    Oh man, I wish Bentley would ask before he jumped in puddles. It would at least give me enough warning to get out of the splash zone. Those swinging pictures are adorable. Elise has a great smile.

    I seriously can't believe you let Buzz jump in those puddles! She looks like she's having so much fun. Elise is an angel baby indeed. Love the swinging pics.
