Vacation- Day Five

This was a long awaited day for Amelia Claire.  Her cousin was finally going to Silver Dollar City with her.  These season passes have been so fabulous and we are so glad G and Pa got them for us as a gift!  After a tiny nap for Elise, we loaded up to go to SDC and Amelia and Ingrid napped on the way.  We had a shaky start with a little tram trouble/delay but everyone remained in good spirits as we finally got into the park.  (I had the hardest time remaining in said good spirit of course, ha).  The girls held hands on the tram and absolutely loved it.  Ing said, "I love this, I love this."

Amelia immediately wanted to ride the roller coaster with DD and they came off the ride all smiles.

 Next they were off to the frogs for Ingrid's first ride and she LOVED it.  She kept yelling, "Ribbit, Ribbit."  Amelia had a death grip around her neck to "protect" her, but she soon let go when she saw Ing was fine, ha.

 Elise still wouldn't ride anything this trip, but seemed perfectly happy shoveling in the frozen lemonade and watching everyone.

 And, she could stay at this water ball all day long, I believe.

  

Ingrid and Amelia rode the butterflies and frogs and merry-go-round and did the tree house.  Ingrid was way braver than I thought she would be.  She already can't wait to ride the big things.  Amelia added one new SUPER scary ride to her repertoire--the pirate ships.  I voted that she not ride them, but her Daddy won out.   She also got to ride the much coveted tea cups with DD and Dad, but lamented that they were, "way too slow."

We saved the splash part for the end of the day to cool off and Amelia loved it and Elise actually loved it this time!  Ingrid was so, so about this part.  She DID have a very loving cousin chasing her around and that might have had something to do with it, ha.

 

We were on the road home at 6:30 with a giant lollypop.  So much fun :)

 

We missed you Liv, but I know you had more fun in the air condition with Gam and Gamp.
