Vacation- Day Eight

Woke up and Amelia immediately wanted to play school and of course Elise joined her.  Amelia is getting excellent using her scissors and glue stick.  SO proud :)  And Elise continues to just put stickers on a mile a minute, haha.  Sweet school helper.
Then we headed to the park to play, but it mainly turned into a sand-a-palooza.  These girls love the sand and Ross and I decided that our five minute trip to the park was much better than a 15 hour trek to the beach.  We pretended we could hear the waves crashing :)

Friday evening we went to Panera Bread (MOST DELISH FOOD EVER) with our good friends the Hahns and then we decided to go see their new trampoline.  The girls loved it, but Emily was watering her garden and that was MUCH more appealing.

Then, even more fun ensued and Shelby blew up this awesome little splash pad and the kids had a blast.  Amelia couldn't believe she got to take her shirt off like a boy, haha.  We always make a big deal out of keeping her dress down and that only boys take their shirts off, and then here we are breaking our own rules.  Parenting.  Pfffft.

We are so thankful for such good friends.  Amelia cried most of the way home because, "Asher is my favorite friend ever."
