Christmas Eve, Eve

We were excited to get to go to church on Christmas Eve, Eve with Gammy and Gampy, but Ross had to work that morning.  We weren't too sad though, knowing he was on his way that evening.  Amelia picked out a beautiful "tank top dress" to wear and hardly ever wanted her sweater on.  Tank tops are her favorite thing in this world she said.  Haha.  I think she looks so grown-up and gorgeous.  Wahhh.
And I just love Elise's red cord dress and have been counting down the days for her to wear it.  She did her newly discovered totally shut eye smile--which is still adorable.

We went to Master Chef after church with Mom and Dad and The Hendersons and then home for naps because it was almost time for.......

SUGAR COOKIES!!

One of my favorite traditions, only this year I couldn't shove dough in my mouth like I wanted.  Amelia had been instructed not to and was a hawk eye for any adult that wanted to sneak a little dough.  This might have been the only sugar cookie extravaganza that I didn't spend a large about of time in the bathroom after....

The girls loved making cookies and this was definitely the most fun year for them.  Amelia outlasted everyone (even several adults) and had a blast.  And eating them afterward is even MORE fun.  :)

Then we headed to our first Christmas Candlelight Service with all four babies.  Ummm let's just say it was interesting.  And we maybe should have waited until they were older??  You live and learn, haha.
