I Feel Like I'm Falling for Fall

This is the catchy title of Moose A. Moose's song and it just might be true. Fall is so much more fun as a mom. As a single and even a married, I was all about Summer, but I am loving this time of year and the beginning of this glorious weather. Actually, I think every season is just more fun as a mom and that is the truth.

Elise had her first ponytail this past weekend. Can yous see it? She's even bending down, ha.

She also rode her first ride (with cousin Ing) at the mall and she held on to Ingrid's hand for dear life, ha. Maybe it was a little soon for that, but she stayed in the seat and rode the entire thing.

The mall has this tiny (but cute) little play area that Amelia loves and Ingrid and Elise looked on adoringly. Ingrid absolutely loves Meil Meil and it is so precious. She follows her everywhere and wants to play with her every second. Ing was loving me so much this weekend and can say my name perfectly now! It made me so happy. Isn't she adorable?

Steph and I left Mom with the three girls and headed to shop. Not really, but this picture cracks me up because everyone is needing some Gammy time.

After this we headed to the square for the annual Harvest Homecoming. Amelia had fun in the bouncy house, but other than that it was a bad call. Too crowded for strollers. Or kids really for that matter. Ugh. I got annoyed and was ready to leave, pronto.
After naps, we headed off to the Fall Festival at Aunt Steph's school. SO FUN. This was Amelia's third year in a row to attend and her most favorite. She was into all the games. She loved the duck pond, cube throw, fishing booth, bean bag toss, spinning wheel, everything. All games were only a quarter and the prizes were great. A blast. Ingrid and Elise loved it as well and it was just a perfect evening. Amelia had her first candy bracelet.

And, Ing and Elise had their first sucker tastes. (I'm not sure how Elise is actually holding her sucker in this picture, but just know it was immediately grabbed away and discarded after that).

Steph's grade had a Minute to Win it booth and Ross became immediately competitive and crazy and held the record the entire night for the most pencils bounced in a coffee mug--15. Yep, he's mine. Back off. Oh, and apologies to Amy for when he jumped in front of your FOUR YEAR OLD to try and break the record. Sheesh.
Weekend extraordinaire.

Topped off with a late night trip to the delicious Brick Oven Pizza with my best friends from way back. I'm so glad we hang out so much and laugh and act 16. It is honestly good for the soul.
We laughed and we laughed. A two hour dinner is a given and a good mixture of serious conversation and just plain hilarity are as well. Love you two :)
