Happy Halloween Part One

We started off our Halloween with a super fun party at Amelia's school.  She really wanted Elise to dress up and so the spider and I headed out to celebrate preschool style.  Her little classmates are just adorable and it was a great time.  We played pin the nose on the pumpkin and made adorable Styrofoam spiders and had delicious snacks.  Then the kids took the treat bags they had made and trick or treated from the adults.  I am LOVING her school so much and am just so thrilled we went with this last minute switch.  A total non-calculated, non-Heather, go with your gut impulse move.  Thankful for the Lord's gentle and not-so-gentle promptings.  Her teacher is so sweet and kind and she is learning a lot.  Happy!!

Amelia was SO happy to have Elise at school with her.  She kept reaching over and patting her head and rubbing it and saying, "This is my school, Elise.  You came to my party!"  Elise acted wonderful while the kids played the game and made their craft.  Such a fun time.

That would have been enough for the day, really, but after naps we headed on to our church Fall Festival to play some games and get MORE candy.  And trick or treating for MORE candy.  Add to that, this Mama's sinus infection has her feeling like she floating in the sky PLUS a candy high....
