Happy Birthday Meme!

 We had a fabulous time last weekend celebrating Meme's 76th birthday.  Thank goodness she doesn't age in my mind- or outwardly.  Our little family was so excited about the party on Saturday, but we our excitement doubled when we found out Steph and Derek and the girls were getting to come up on Friday night and spend the night.  After supper, the girls got right to some serious playing.

We were so lucky because the weather was perfect for playing outside - 70 degrees and no coats!

What a blessed day celebrating the strong and determined woman that we all strive to be like.  Meme has such steadfast faith in our Father, always has a listening ear, and will fervently pray for any needs you are facing.  I loved her as a child when it was all fun and games and snacks and cartoons and dress up and pretend concerts.  And I love her even more when it is discipline advice and prayer requests and book recommendations and recipe talk.  Oh, and of course, still fun and games.  Happy Birthday Memer.
