Here's the Dirt...

Elise loves to get dirty. 

Amelia doesn't mind it, but she definitely doesn't purposefully get disgusting.

Elise does.  She gravitates toward anything that is dirt or mud or soil or...you get the point.  Some documentation.

Selecting wood chips for me at the park and then taking them back and throwing them all over herself.

Running her hand all over some moss she found trying to get it "PUP" (up)

Checking out the rain water coming down the drainage spout and then playing in the puddle it made.

Filling the perfectly clean water table with tons of mud and soil.

Insisting on swinging with a handful of grass.

I love you Elise Mae and the way you play and get messy with reckless abandon.  You have helped me realize that there is nothing wrong with being covered in dirt from head to toe, especially when it brings you such big SMILES.  Hugs from your Mom-- the one who follows you around with a wet wipe and hand sanitizer.
